deaths-door-coming-to-ps4-ps5-and-switch-on-november-23

Death's Door, the critically acclaimed action-adventure game, is releasing on PS4, PS5, and Nintendo Switch on November 23. The game was previously available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC. Anyone who preorders the game on PlayStation will get a free copy of Titan Souls, Acid Nerve's previous game.

In Death's Door, you play a crow, one of many who is tasked with going into the world and reaping souls. In this world, natural death no longer occurs, so the crows must take souls who have gone past their expiration date. The game features a melancholy atmosphere while the story has a more humorous tone about death. The combat in Death's Door mixes fast-paced melee action with the sparing use of tools, like a bow and arrow or fireballs.

The PS5 version of Death's Door will take advantage of the DualSense's haptic feedback providing detailed sensations throughout the game. In GameSpot's Death's Door review, critic Alessandro Barbosa gave it an 8/10, writing, "With an engaging world to explore and consistently satisfying combat to keep things entertaining, it's easy to fall in love with Death's Door. Its premise hooks you immediately, and it has the style and the substance to maintain the captivating allure of its opening. Perhaps most importantly, it's just consistently fun to play, with sharp enemy designs that keep you on your feet to challenging boss fights that test your skills in satisfying ways. There's a lot of death to deal and souls to reap, but Death's Door makes it a delight every step of the way."
